The great Trevor Murrell

This is from 1990 or 91. I was touring w Ottmar Liebert. We were the opening act for the amazing singer Basia. Her music is still on the radio today. We opened all of Basia's concerts for several months. What a great band she had. Trevor and I became good friends. He told me his first professional gig was w Wham! Playing huge venues. He had the most amazing natural 'pocket.' I could listen to him play every night and I did. I would always go and sit w the 'front of house' mixer and enjoy their show. During that tour the Bee Gees came to check Trevor out. I got to sit w them and watch Trevor killin it. I think he went on to tour and record w them. He's also played w Joe Cocker, Sade, Anita Baker. It's been 30yrs since I've seen him. I hope he's well.
