I did a session here and got to know the owner. Myself being born and raised in NM...we had much to talk about. He was in the process of building the Buddy Holly Room. All that gear came from Hobbs, NM as part of the Norman Petty Estate.
The owner of 16 Tons liked my original music and let me book the "A" room from 10am - 2pm w an assistant for $50hr!!! I would mix one song on each 4hr session. No gain staging required. Right outta protools into analog heaven.
